How to calculate the wattage/power conusmption of a generator?

To calculate wattage (W), multiply the current (A) by the voltage (V) given in the user manual.

VA = W

Alternatively check the data sheet, since many data sheets now give power consumption information.

For example, the NM32LA rated at 230 volts & 7A would be rated at 1610 Watts

230 x 7 = 1610
